The Department of the Navy has authorized the use of the Sublime Water Scale Solvent to clean Seawater System Components on non-nuclear surface ships. Sublime is approved for use by Naval Shipyards, contractors, and Regional Maintenance Center personnel experienced in acid cleaning seawater system components. Heat exchangers, coolers and distilling plants are some of the components that can be cleaned with Sublime.
