GT Descaler is a biodegradable Descaler safe for cleaning the water side of equipment.
GT Descaler removes scale and corrosion deposits without equipment disassembly.
GT Descaler dissolves water scale, lime deposits, calcium carbonate, iron oxide, rust/corrosion, ash, liquor.
GT Descaler extends equipment life, reduces bearing failures, increases vacuum, and restores heat transfer surfaces. Cleans to bare steel in less than 3 hours. Key Applications include air compressor coolers, heat exchangers, lube oil coolers, vacuum pumps, mill rolls, scrubbers, slurry lines, ash lines, turbine legs.
GT Descaler should be circulated through equipment being cleaned: CO2 will emit with the dissolution of scale: equipment must be vented at all times to allow gas to escape. Not to be used on aluminum, aluminum alloys, zinc, or alloys of magnesium. GT Descaler’s physical state is liquid; color is yellow to light amber, and pH is <1.
